Ryan surprised Meredith when he proposed to her in Paris, France, her favorite city in the world.
Their wedding ceremony, held at an Old-World-style European church, was traditional and timeless. The couple chose the picturesque La Quinta Resort for their reception—a fitting choice for their 1940s Hollywood glamour theme, as the resort has always been a popular destination for film legends.

The resort set the stage for a breathtaking ambiance, enhanced by elegant yet simple décor, including unique ceramic elephants and modern vases at the dining tables. A fifth-generation San Franciscan, Meredith and her family knew that the quality of food and beverage was a crucial part of the event. The family-style gourmet barbecue featured fresh and hearty fare.

Meredith and Ryan’s wedding provided a fun and nostalgic atmosphere in which the couple and their guests spent the night making memories to be cherished long after. To infuse the day with Hollywood-style glamour, there was a black and white photo booth coupled with on-the-spot scrapbooking. Two unforgettable elements were the old classic love stories projected onto a wall and the goodie bags guests could fill up at the candy station.

The couple, who live in sunny Palo Alto, California, went farther south—to Rincón, Puerto Rico—to spend their honeymoon beachside.
